Reward Offered In Disappearance Of Oakdale Woman

CENTER CITY, Minn. (WCCO) – Crime Stoppers has offered a reward of up to $1,000 for information regarding the disappearance of 27-year-old Danielle Jelinek.

Jelinek went missing in Chisago Lakes Township on Dec. 9, 2012. She was last seen with Aaron Schnagl, a former boyfriend who was arrested on drug charges, and is a person of interest in her disappearance.

Investigators searched Schnagl's property in the days after she was reported missing - finding Jelinek's purse, shoes and cell phone.

Investigators also discovered traces of blood in Schnagl's home and car which have been sent to a lab for testing. But authorities say the amount of blood found doesn't necessarily indicate any wrongdoing or any kind of struggle.

Documents also say Schnagl told authorities that he was with Jelinek on December 8. He said they were drinking, and then went to bed around 2:30 a.m. When he woke up the next morning, she was gone.

The documents also include comments from Jelinek's family who claim that Schnagl was abusive in the past.

If you have information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for Jelinek's disappearance, call the Chisago County Sheriff's Office at (651)257-4100.

You can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
