ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota lawmakers have been known to play political games in committee, but now a group of them will play an actual game.

The Housing Finance and Policy Committee in the House of Representatives is holding its first meeting of the session Monday. Committee leaders have invited Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity to stage a round of its “Return on Investment” game, which the group bills as an interactive activity aimed at bringing different political factions together to look for solutions to affordable housing needs.

Habitat for Humanity says the half-hour game promises to make for “a truly unique committee meeting.”
