OLD DUTCH HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Class – Senior

Josh, a senior captain on the Mounds View boys hockey team, was diagnosed in June with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, possibly putting an end to his first passion, hockey. Josh has been an off-ice inspiration this season as the Mustangs jumped out to a 10-2-2 record. But on Saturday Josh, who has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments, made his ON-ICE season debut and sparked the Mustangs to a 6-1 victory over Hastings. Josh was a plus-5 with an assist in his first game action in almost a year.
