ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – A multi-vehicle crash in St. Paul is causing major problems and delays for morning commuters.

The crash happened shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 35E near the Cayuga Bridge in St. Paul. There are no immediate reports of any injuries or fatalities and it’s not known exactly how many vehicles were involved, but all lanes of northbound I-35E had been shut down because of the accident.

Icy conditions may have played a part in the crash, which is under investigation by authorities. Crews had lanes of northbound I-35E back open by about 8:45 a.m., but traffic was still crawling because of the crash.
