MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The state is bracing for deep cuts to Minnesota’s food stamp program.
Officials expect the state to lose a fourth of its nearly $10 million federal funding this year.
Congress recently took about $110 million from the food stamp program and used it to stop the looming ‘dairy cliff,’ which would’ve sent milk prices skyrocketing.
