MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (WCCO) – The coach of Maple Grove Senior High’s hockey team has been put on paid administrative leave from his coaching job.

Gary Stefano, who continues to teach at Maple Grove Junior High, was put on leave after a complaint was brought against him Thursday.

Representatives from District 279 could not say if Stefano’s suspension is connected to an off-campus incident in December that resulted in the suspension of several players on the Crimson Flyers hockey team.
