COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Alexander Krushelnyski and Cody Bradley had a goal and assist apiece to lead Colorado College to a 5-1 win over Minnesota-Duluth Saturday in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
Goalie Joe Howe stopped 40 of 41 shots to get the win for the Tigers (10-14-2, 7-10-2), who were outshot 41-27. Howe turned away 16 shots in the second period.
Colorado College scored the last four goals of the game to pull away from a 1-1 tie. Peter Stoykewych got the game-winner at 5:01 of the second.
Keegan Flaherty had the only goal for Minnesota-Duluth (10-11-3, 8-7-3).
Matt McNeely made 22 saves for UMD.
