DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (WCCO) — Wind gusts and blowing snow in west central Minnesota has the Minnesota Department of Transportation urging drivers to slow down and use their headlights.

MnDOT said road conditions are fair, but strong winds and snow have reduced visibility around the Detroit Lakes area. It has been near white-out conditions, MnDOT says.
