MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A Minneapolis-based multicultural theater is bringing its celebration of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. to the New York Mills Cultural Center.

Mixed Blood Theatre will present “Dr. King’s Dream” at the western Minnesota center on Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m.

Actor Warren C. Bowles performs solo as King. The production is based on the late civil rights leader’s letters, sermons, books and speeches, including his famous “I Have a Dream” speech.

Bowles has toured for Mixed Blood as King since 1981.

Admission is $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Student admission is free.
