ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) — St. Cloud police aren’t interested in any parties “taking over” their city this Friday and Saturday night.
According St. Cloud authorities, there will be extra police enforcement in the downtown area of the central Minnesota town after police became aware of an event titled “St. Cloud: The Takeover.”
Police say the advertisement states that event promoters will provide transportation via bus from Minneapolis-St. Paul to St. Cloud and then back to the Twin Cities this weekend.
Chief Blair Anderson: “If you’re coming to St. Cloud to engage in any criminal or uncivil behavior, YOU’RE NOT WELCOME AND YOU WILL BE DEALT WITH SWIFTLY!”
Anderson has told police to approach the event with “zero tolerance” in regards to criminal behavior in or outside establishments.
