MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — We haven’t had much snow to talk about this winter, but when we get another round of plowable snow…a certain contraption seen at the Winter Carnival might come in handy.
Robotic snowplows were part of a competition in downtown St. Paul Saturday. Some of the robots had trouble staying on the designated track, while others failed to get enough traction. Competitors and their robots came from as far as Ohio University.
The snow used in the competition did not come from the sky, but from shavings off local ice rinks.
