MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in southeastern Minnesota are looking for at least one suspect after an excavator was recently stolen.
Police say sometime between last Thursday and Friday, a 1991 Kubato KX91-2 excavator with the serial number 12491 was stolen from Center Auto Sales in Dodge Center. Authorities say it’s been valued at $14,000. Also stolen was a homemade black 20-foot trailer with a wood deck and new tongue jack. The trailer has two back ramps that lift into the trailer, which is valued at $2,000.
Authorities say the excavator has a broken engine guard, no doors and an aftermarket hydraulic thumb attachment. It had been chained to the trailer when it stolen.
