ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – A 50-year-old Oakdale man was seriously injured Saturday morning after pulling over to check on the drivers from a minor crash, the Minnesota State Patrol says, as icy conditions played a role.
The State Patrol says Randy McTigue was struck by two cars a little after 7 a.m. near Highway 280 on I-94.
The drivers of the two cars that hit McTigue don’t appear to have suffered injuries, the patrol says, and neither have the drivers of the two cars involved in the minor crash that McTigue had initially stopped for.
