MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Minneapolis crews have fixed the on-street parking pay stations that were out of service in downtown Minneapolis.
Officials say 138 pay stations stopped functioning after a software update to the parking meter system on Monday night.
City staff worked with the makers of the pay stations to try and fix the glitch but each station had to be rebooted individually.
The issue has been resolved so drivers should use them to park downtown, as usual.
If the pay station on a particular block isn’t working, drivers can use any nearby pay station.
