ORR, Minn. (WCCO) — A 26-year-old woman is in jail after she allegedly attacked two family members with a knife a started a fire in the family’s basement, according to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.
At 1:29 a.m. Thursday morning, officers were dispatched to a house in the rural area west of the City of Orr in northern St. Louis County.
Family members told police that after the woman started the fire, they were able to extinguish it and restrain her until officers arrived.
Emergency responders were called to the house, but no medical treatment was required.
The woman, who has not been identified, is being held in the St. Louis County Jail in Hibbing pending charges.
