MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — It’s Thursday, and that means it’s time to start planning some weekend fun. This weekend, there’s another polar plunge, a chance to play golf outdoors and even streak for a good cause. Here are some fun events worth checking out during your time off.

Polar Plunge
Another winter weekend in Minnesota, brings another polar plunge. This one in Coon Rapids will benefit the Special Olympics of Minnesota. Watch or plunge Saturday starting at 1 p.m. at Crooked Lake.

Wayzata Chilly Open
On Saturday, dust off your golf clubs because it’s time to hit the links. Since 1984, thousands of hearty Minnesotans have headed to Lake Minnetonka for the Wayzata Chilly Open, a frozen golf event to celebrate our chilly winter season. Volunteers carve out two 9 hole golf courses right out on the ice. Tickets are $40.

Cupid’s Undie Run
If you’ve ever wanted to show off your best footed PJ’s, long johns or underwear, this is your weekend to do it. Strip down to your skivvies for Cupid’s Undie Run. The 1.5-mile run or jog (or whatever suits you best) takes place down Nicollet Mall downtown Minneapolis Saturday at 1:30 p.m. The price is $50 and it’s for a good cause. Proceeds benefit the Children’s Tumor Foundation.
