MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A former student teacher received a 30 day jail sentence Tuesday after pleading guilty to sending a naked photo of herself to a 17-year-old Inver Grove Heights student, authorities say.

Judge Jerome Abrams sentenced 27-year-old Jenna Schultz, of Minnetonka, to 30 days in jail and two years of probation, the Dakota County Attorney’s Office said. She must also pay restitution, a fine of $500, and complete a chemical dependency evaluation.

She pleaded guilty to a gross misdemeanor charge last November in connection with sending a nude photo of herself to teenage boy at Simley High School, where she was a student teacher.

She sent the photo in May of 2012. According to a criminal complaint, when asked about sending the photo, Schultz said I “must have been really drunk.”
