MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 44-year-old Big Lake man is accused of possessing large amounts of child pornography on devices at his home dating back to June of 2011, according to charges filed Wednesday.
Big Lake Police say Peter Michael Guevara has been charged with 17 counts of possession of child pornography. Police say Guevara was a Big Lake resident in June of 2011 when authorities executed a search warrant on his home. That led police to find multiple images and videos of children in nude and sexually suggestive positions and also performing sex acts.
Each charge is punishable by up to five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine. Authorities say Guevara is not currently in custody. He has a court appearance scheduled for March 6.
