MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — It’s Thursday, and that means it’s time to start planning some weekend fun. Since Thursday is Valentine’s Day, many will be celebrating love this weekend. But there are still several other events going on around town through Sunday. Here are a few worth checking out.

MN Golf Show
It may be hard to believe, but Minnesota’s golf season is right around the corner, and it begins with the Minnesota Golf Show. Head on over to the Minneapolis Convention Center for 12,000 square feet of golf goodies from the latest gear to a 10-minute lesson from a PGA professional. There will also be deals on clubs and clothes. Admission is $12 for adults. Kids 17 and under get in free.

National Pheasant Fest
Also at the convention center this weekend is the 2013 National Pheasant Fest. There will be a bird dog parade, seminars, a youth village and more. Tickets are $10 daily for adults and $5 for kids. Ages 5 and under are free. This event goes through Sunday.

Minnesota Home and Patio Show
In St. Paul, the RiverCentre will host the Minnesota Home and Patio Show. Enjoy more than 300 exhibits, seminars, demonstrations, even hands-on and how-to help from home improvement coaches. The show goes through Sunday. Tickets are $9 for adults and $2.50 for kids.
