830 WCCO Adds Dara Moskowitz Grumdahl Food Show 'Off The Menu' To WCCO

Minneapolis/St. Paul – 830 WCCO-AM is announcing that Dara Moskowitz Grumdahl will bring her food writing talents to the WCCO line-up, hosting a one-hour show called "Off The Menu."

Grumdahl was born and raised in New York City and graduated from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota in 1992. Grumdahl wrote for City Pages from 1995 to 2008, and currently writes for Minneapolis/St. Paul. Magazine. She has been nominated for seven James Beard Awards for both her food and wine writing and has won four times. She has also written for Gourmet Magazine, USA Today, Wine & Spirits, Bon Appetit, and Saveur.

"WCCO has a long and rich history of food and nutrition, from the recipe shows and farm reports of the past to the latest dining trends and nutritional information of today. Dara is the Twin-Cities' premier expert on food. She will bring WCCO's tradition of nutritional information to new heights, on all platforms, on-air, online and on mobile devices. We are thrilled to have her on the WCCO team," said WCCO Program Director, Bob Shomper.

"Off The Menu" will be heard Saturdays at 11am, beginning on March 2, 2013.
