ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities say two people are dead and another person is in custody after a car hit a parked truck early Friday morning in St. Paul.

Police say the crash happened at about 2:30 a.m. Friday near the three-way intersection of Hazelwood Street, Arlington Avenue and Prosperity Avenue. Authorities say Two people died in the crash, but it’s not clear how many people were inside the car that hit the truck.

Authorities say as many as four people were involved in the crash, and they’re investigating if alcohol might have played a factor.

The names of the victims have not yet been released.
