BELLE PLAINE, Minn. (WCCO) – A 38-year-old Blakely Township man was killed when his car went off the road Saturday evening in Belle Plaine near Union Trail (County Road 6) and Blakely Trail (County Road 60).
According to authorities, the fatal accident occurred at approximately 5:28 p.m. when the driver went off the road and rolled his 2001 Mitsubishi Diamante into a ditch.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only passenger in the vehicle.
The Scott County Sheriff’s office is investigating the accident.
