TEMPE, Ariz. (WCCO) — A 21-year-old Arizona State University student from Minnesota who went missing on solo hike has been found Sunday evening, according to authorities.

The Arizona Republic reports that Michael Kmit left Tempe, Ariz. Saturday afternoon to go hiking alone, which he doesn’t mind if his friends can’t join him. When he didn’t return, he was reported missing early Sunday morning.

Kmit’s Mitsubishi was found at the Peralta Trailhead Sunday morning.

According to Michael Pooley, Tempe, Ariz. Police Department’s public information officer, Kmit was located later Sunday and crews are bringing him down.

Pooley says Kmit is OK.
