Planned Parenthood To Close 4 Wisconsin Centers
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Planned Parenthood says it is closing four of its 27 locations in Wisconsin due to a lack of state funding.
The group announced Monday that facilities in Beaver Dam, Johnson Creek, Chippewa Falls and Shawano will close between April and July.
Planned Parenthood says the closures are the direct consequence of the Legislature eliminated $1 million in state funding for the group in the last budget.
Planned Parenthood says the closures will mean affect services provided to 2,000 patients.
