OLD DUTCH HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Class – Senior
The senior at Bethlehem Academy in Faribault became the school’s all-time career scoring leader last week, finishing with 23 points in a Senior Night victory over United South Central. Jessie scored 16 points during a 22-0 Bethlehem Academy run in the first half, and her effort in the Cardinals’ final home game of the regular season gave her a career total of 1,610 points. She also is the school’s career leader in steals and assists and ranks among the top five in rebounds. Bethlehem Academy is ranked third in Class 1A with a record of 20-4. Jessie has a 3.7 grade-point average, serves as Student Council secretary, was co-MVP of the Cardinals’ state championship volleyball team and plans to play college basketball at St. Mary’s University in Winona.
