MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The world’s only skyway based mini-golf event is happening this weekend in downtown Minneapolis.
The U.S. Bank Skyway open is inviting families to try out the course. We got a preview of the theme for the event, which is imagining Minneapolis in 2025.
The course includes 18 holes with a variety of challenges as it weaves through several buildings of the Minneapolis skyway system. Local architects and designers built this year’s course with the goal to image Minneapolis 12 years from now.
The U.S. Bank Skyway Open is in its seventh year. it’s a fun activity for people of all ages and skill levels.
Saturday is family day with golf starting at 10 a.m. and closing at 6 p.m. There are also a bunch of family activities. Plus for the first time, golf will continue Sunday will run from noon to 4 p.m., with reduced prices for golfers.
