MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The missing Elk River teenage girl who hadn’t been seen since Feb. 11 has been found safe, authorities say.
Johannah Mary Thomsen, 16, had been a runaway for the past couple weeks, but police say she had been sending electronic communications to family and friends during that time.
Police don’t believe she had been in imminent danger. Authorities say she may have been with an unidentified person she had met with online.
