MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – As it turns out, it wasn’t the last dance with Mary Jane. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are booked to return to the Twin Cities this summer.

The concert is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 29, with tickets going on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 15. Members of the band’s Highway Companions Club will get an early shot at tickets the Wednesday before.

Petty and the Heartbreakers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002, their first year of eligibility.

Their hits include “Free Fallin’,” “I Won’t Back Down,” “Mary Jane’s Last Dance,” and “Don’t Come Around Here No More,” the video for which won an MTV Music Video Award.

Ticket prices are between $25 and $99.50.
