MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The month of March kicks off this Friday with plenty of events going on in the Twin Cities. There’s something for foodies, the do-it-your-selfers and the do-gooders.
Bedrace For Bridging
Let the race begin! The Subway Bedrace For Bridging takes off down Buck Hill, Saturday beginning at 5 p.m. Teams of four are invited to race down the tubing hill atop specially covered and provided bed mattresses. Registration fees for a team of four is $200. Bedrace team members are encouraged to raise funds to furnish more local homes with hope. One hundred percent of registration fees and dollars raised benefit Bridging, a nonprofit that provides furniture and household goods to thousands of local families.
