Warrant Issued For Cambridge Man In Alleged Sex Assault

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — An arrest warrant has been issued for a 44-year-old Cambridge man in an alleged sexual assault, according to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.

On Wednesday, the warrant was issued for John Everette Pierce, specifically charging him with a total of 13 felony charges in connection to the incident, including first-degree criminal sexual conduct, second-degree assault, kidnapping, false imprisonment, violation of a restraining order while possessing a danger weapon, domestic assault, terroristic threats and burglary.

Authorities say the sexual assault was reported at a residence in Cherry Township on March 2. No other information has been released on the specifics of the incident.

Now, the Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance locating Pierce, who is known to frequent the Hibbing and Cambridge areas.

Pierce is described as 6-foot-2, 230 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes (see above photo). He was last known to be driving a blue-colored 1988 Chevrolet pickup bearing a Minnesota license 410-EDT, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
