Local farmers, experts in food, wine, beer and spirits, chefs, restaurant owners and much more will be joining Dara Saturday mornings to talk about what is happening around the region. - Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine’s Wine Expert Bill Coy joined Dara to talk Prosecco. It’s a great “bargain” Italian bubbly wine which continues to grow in popularity each year. A great choice for when the weather starts to warm up!
- Jodi Ohlsen Read is a Sheppard and Cheesemaker from Nerstrand, MN. Jodi and her husband Steve run a family farm called Sheppard’s Way where they raise sheep and make some of the midwest’s finest sheepsmilk cheese. In January, 2005, an arsonist set fire to a barn which killed 500 sheep, many just lambs (read more here). But after spending a few years rebuilding the farm, the Ohlsen’s are again making amazing cheese as Dara found out last Saturday!
