MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The funeral was held today for a firefighter who was killed in a deadly crash.
Forty-two-year-old John Larson was struck and killed in an accident near Stillwater last week.
Larson was driving home from his full-time job as a postal worker in Eagan.
He was also a rescue training captain for the Scandia Fire Department — and served for nine years.
Sky 4 was above the procession Thursday as dozens of firetrucks and rescue vehicles slowly drove from the church in Scandia to the cemetery in Stillwater where Larson was buried.
He leaves behind a wife and three children.
