MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Ben Marshall’s goal late in the third period gave Minnesota a 4-1 win over Bemidji State on Saturday and a berth in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association Final Five.
Marshall scored unassisted at 19:07 of the third period as the Golden Gophers (26-7-5) came back from a 3-1 deficit late in the second period.
Nate Condon and A.J. Michaelson also scored during the comeback.
Erik Haula assisted on three goals and Zach Budish had two assists.
Minnesota outshot the Beavers 41-22. Gophers goalie Adam Wilcox made 19 saves and Andrew Walsh had 37 for the Beavers (6-22-8).
Jordan George, Jeff Jubinville and Cory Ward had goals for Bemidji State.
