MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Trevor Thenell pulled off a wheelie for 1,200 feet on the ice of Sturgeon Bay.
The Wisconsinite did it at 112 miles per hour, shattering the old mark of 256 feet at 108 mph.
But, to make it a Guinness World Record, it has to be official — he’ll be sending in his information soon.
Thenell said the hardest part about the course wasn’t trying to stay balanced on the ice, but dealing with the wind. Special spiked tires helped, he said.
