MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — It’s already Thursday, and St. Paul is going to be busy this weekend with several events going on. Plus, Minneapolis offers a real taste of spring. Here are your best bets for weekend entertainment around town.

Donnie Smith Bike Show
Downtown St. Paul is the place to be Saturday. There will be big crowds for several events. The Donnie Smith Bike Show starts at 9 a.m. at the Saint Paul RiverCentre. Admission is $14 for adults. Later in the day, the Minnesota Wild play the San Jose Sharks at 1 p.m. at the Xcel Energy Center.

Minnesota RollerGirls
Wrap up the day by watching the Minnesota RollerGirls. They host a double header starting at 7:30 p.m., including a showdown with the Texas Rollergirls Texecutioners. The bouts take place at Roy Wilkins Auditorium. O’Gara’s will host the official after party.

Macy’s Flower Show
Finally, you can get a taste of spring Sunday at the Macy’s Flower Show. Head to the downtown Minneapolis location for the first day of the show. This year’s exhibit is called the Painted Garden and evokes the inspiring architecture and vibrant spirit of south Asia. Entrance is free.
