Dog, Owner Reunited After Both Ejected From Vehicle
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (WCCO) -- A man and his 1-year-old mastiff were reunited after they were both ejected from their vehicle in a rollover crash earlier this week.
Thirty-seven-year-old Andrew Storlie was driving with his dog in Le Sueur County on Monday when his 1993 Chevrolet Blazer rolled.
According to a spokesperson for BluePearl Veterinary Partners, both were ejected from the vehicle. Storlie was taken to a nearby hospital for his injuries, and his dog Abella was taken to the Eden Prairie veterinary clinic.
"From the sounds of it, they're both very lucky to be alive," said Dr. Andrew Jackson, a vet at the clinic.
The two were reunited on Thursday. Doctors say they believe the two will be able to heal faster in each other's presence.
