ME: Head Injury Killed Man In New Year's Drunken Altercation

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has determined the reason an Eagan man died over New Years during in a drunken altercation.

Jonathan Thomas Lahr, 36, died after blunt force injuries to the head and neck.

Lahr was found dead after apparently fighting with his roommate, 28-year-old Samuel Walter Peterson, at their apartment on the 4500 block of Slater Road.

Both had blood alcohol levels of about .2 at the time of the incident.
