MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Get ready for major delays if you’re driving on Interstate 94 between Clearwater and St. Cloud.
Resurfacing work is being done on a 7.5-mile stretch of road starting Thursday, and not ending until early July.
Both directions of I-94 are now reduced to a single lane.
MnDOT says drivers should expect major delays, with possible backups of 20 miles or more this summer.
Good news for Memorial Day travelers though. All lanes will be open for the holiday weekend.
