Twin Cities Man Brings Golf Lessons To Business

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Professional golfers, like many athletes in their trade, make what they do look easy when they are at their best.

The reality is it's incredibly difficult to guide a golf ball around a course for 18 holes. Dan DeMuth is a local golf professional who has been in the business for nearly 30 years, and he's found a unique way to bring golf into the business world. He uses golf to train business owners and sales people on setting targets and reaching goals.

It's tied in with strategic planning and it's mean to open people's minds in looking at things in a different way, said Tim Bot, a local human resources expert. DeMuth pulls phrases out of his philosophy like golf clubs out of a bag. Think of it like corporate training, you get to throw things against a wall.
