MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Surly Brewing has locked down a site for its “destination brewery.”
The company purchased land in the Prospect Park neighborhood near University Avenue along the Minneapolis-St. Paul border.
According to reports, the $20 million brewery will also have a bar, a restaurant, a beer garden and an event center.
Surly hopes it will become a destination for beer lovers and draw people in from around the country.
Cleanup of the current site is slated to begin this fall.
