Police: Man, 27, Hit By Train In Buffalo

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities say a 27-year-old man from Buffalo suffered serious and life-threatening injuries after being hit by a train in Wright County Wednesday morning.

The Wright County Sheriff's Office said the incident happened at about 3:30 a.m., but did not give an exact location. Authorities said a Canadian Pacific Railways train apparently hit a 27-year-old man.

That man has not been identified at this time. He was transported to Buffalo Hospital and then moved to North Memorial Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Buffalo Police are investigating what led up to the incident, but said they don't believe foul play was involved.
