MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — It’s Thursday, and that means it’s time to start planning some weekend fun. This weekend offers a few indoor events. From tunes to poetry reading and craft making, these all worth adding to your social calendar.

American Craft Council St. Paul Show
This weekend in St. Paul, more than 200 of the country’s best contemporary jewelry, clothing, furniture and home décor artists will gather in one spot to present a spectacular season of fine quality craft. The American Craft Council Show is Friday through Sunday at the RiverCentre. Admission is $12 for a one-day pass. Children are free.

Record Store Day
Saturday is Record Store Day. It’s a gathering of independent record store owners and employees as a way to celebrate and spread the word about independently owned stores. It’s the one day they come together with artists to celebrate the art of music. Festivities include things like performances, cook-outs, and DJ’s spinning records.

Garrison Keillor Poetry Reading
With winter weather hanging around, get cozy inside Sunday as Minnesota’s beloved radio host Garrison Keillor will recite poetry at Common Good Books and Macalester College. According to Keillor, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll rhyme. The festivities begin at 1 p.m., Sunday.
