An Arm Wrestling League … For Women?

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Arm wrestling isn’t just happening around the playground anymore – now there’s the Minnesota Arm Wrestling League For Ladies.

Not only are they tough, but they’re raising money for some cool charities that are either run by women or empower women.

Their next event is at 10 p.m. on Friday, April 26 at the Hexagon Bar in Minneapolis, with proceeds going to a group that helps young women increase their self-confidence through rock ‘n’ roll.

“Sending little girls to rock and roll summer camp sounds like the best way to spend a Friday night,” Andria Waclawski said.

You don’t need big muscles to participate in this charity event — just cash.

They plan on holding more matches and helping different charities each time.
