MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It’s the beginning of road closure time in the Twin Cities.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., expect delays both directions on I-494 between Highway 100 and Penn Avenue.

Additionally, the southbound and northbound ramps from France Avenue to eastbound I-494 will be closed about six to eight weeks.

In Brooklyn Center, Highway 100 drivers will see a full closure of both directions of the highway and Bass Lake Road beginning at 10 p.m. on Friday, May 3. Both directions of Highway 100 will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, May 6.

The Bass Lake Road Bridge will close at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 29 and won’t reopen until mid-August.

For those over on Highway 52, expect delays as both directions of the highway will close between I-94 and Concord Street on Friday, and reopen by 8 p.m. on Saturday.
