MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Minnesota Department of Transportation is alerting Twin Cities motorists that there will be short-term lane closures along part of Interstate 94 starting on Thursday night.
The closures will affect traffic between Highway 120 and the I-694/I-494 interchange in Woodbury, Minn.
The left lanes in both directions will be closed between those two spots beginning at 7 p.m. as crews work to install a new electronic traffic sign for westbound traffic.
The lane closures were supposed to begin earlier, but were delayed due to the weather.
The lanes are set to reopen by Memorial Day weekend.
