Festival Of Nations Underway In St. Paul

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- The largest multicultural celebration in Minnesota is underway, as the Festival of Nations continues at the St. Paul RiverCentre.

The Festival of Nations has been held in Minnesota ever since 1932. The event invites Minnesotans to broaden their horizons by taking in the food and cultures of over 90 different nationalities and ethnic groups.

Among this year's attractions is the new "Think Global, Party Local" on Friday night, which includes wine tasting, international beer and musical performances.

Throughout the rest of the festival, there are three stages of music that feature continuous music and dancing.

The festival kicked off on Thursday night and goes through Sunday at the St. Paul River Centre. Tickets cost $13.50 for adults and $8 for kids.
