MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Cities 97 and the Basilica of St. Mary are boasting a lineup of 19 acts for this summer’s forthcoming Basilica Block Party, including ’90s pop-rockers Matchbox 20 and Goo Goo Dolls.

The 19 acts are symbolic of the 19 years for the popular music festival, which takes place this year in downtown Minneapolis on July 12 and 13.

There will be three stages to keep the estimated 25,000 festival-goers entertained. The announced acts are as follows:

Friday, July 12
Grace Potter and the Nocturnals
Father John Misty
Mayer Hawthorne
Matt Nathanson
ZZ Ward
Family of the Year
Actual Wolf
The Cactus Blossoms

Saturday, July 13
Matchbox Twenty
Goo Goo Dolls
Kate Earl
Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings
Walk the Moon
Cloud Cult
On an On
Van Stee
Bomba de Luz

Tickets will go on sale on May 4 at 10 a.m. Single-night tickets will go for $50 and two-night passes will cost $90 through May 31. After June 1, ticket prices increase to $55 and $100. Tickets can be purchase through Ticketmaster and at the Electric Fetus in Minneapolis.

For the first time, concert attendees are invited to download a new Basilica Block Party app that will have an interactive map and social feeds.
