MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Two girls suffered injuries Wednesday afternoon when the ATV they were riding on went off a roadway in northern Minnesota and flipped over.

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened just after 4 p.m. on the 6900 block of Harris Road in Northland Township.

One of the girls was listed in critical condition at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth. The other girl suffered non-life-threatening injuries and an ambulance brought her to St. Luke’s Hospital.

The names and ages of the girls were not given. The crash is under investigation.
