MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — It’s official: The rest of the Minnesota Orchestra season has been canceled.
But the musicians could still play again this year.
The Orchestra canceled the final two weeks of the 2012-2013 season on Wednesday, due to its continuing labor dispute.
But it also proposed new bargaining dates — May 20 and May 22 — saying that if the negotiations succeed, they could have a three-concert summer season.
The musicians union will respond to that request in the next couple days.
