Outdoor Concert To Immediately Follow Dayton's Signing Of Gay Marriage Bill
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – An outdoor music concert will be held Tuesday evening at St. Paul's Ecolab Plaza to celebrate Governor Mark Dayton's signing of the Freedom to Marry Bill.
The "Love is Law" concert will start around 6 p.m., beginning with a procession from the Capitol lawn to downtown St. Paul - led by the Minnesota Freedom Band.
Other acts include the Jack Brass Band, DJ Jake Rudh, H$B, Zoo Animal, P.O.S., the Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus, Chan Poling and Friends (The Suburbs) and other special guests.
St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman will be in attendance.
After Gov. Dayton signs the bill, Minnesota will be the 12th state in the nation to allow gay marriage.
